The remodel of this landmark Colonial Revival home captures the quiet elegance of its owners. With joy and tenacity, the couple rolled up their sleeves, collaborating with our designers and craftspeople every step of the way. Together, they worked carefully and with determination—from demo and paint stripping to the thoughtful development of details that revitalize the grandeur of this southwest Portland mansion.

From the roof’s peak to the foundation, it feels as though every inch has been touched. Inside, the extensive remodel included the attic, kitchen, and three bathrooms, a reimagined living room mantel, a glamorous main bathroom added to the sleeping porch, and new built-ins in the dining room. Outside, the ornate balustrade circling the roofline was meticulously restored and preserved. Throughout, we dedicated countless hours to blending the artistry of the 1910s with today’s sensibilities.
