2023 DeMuro Award Winner: Harlow Hotel!  Arciform and Versatile Wood Products are honored to be recipients of the 2023 DeMuro Award for outstanding historic preservation and restoration. This prestigious award recognizes the meticulous decade-long renovation of the landmark Harlow Hotel in downtown Portland. What was once an abandoned eyesore and roost for pigeons has been transformed into a stunning hotel showcasing the city's vibrant history.

Caples House Museum - 1870


2021 DeMuro Award Winner: Caples House Museum!  Restore Oregon has selected eleven historic projects across Oregon to receive DeMuro Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation, the state’s highest honor for the preservation, reuse, and revitalization of architectural and cultural sites. Congratulations to the entire project team responsible for this notable restoration.

2021 OREGON HERITAGE EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Caples House Museum - 1870


Congratulations to all of the teams behind the restoration of the beautiful Caples House Museum and your 2021 Oregon Heritage Excellence Award. Awarded by the Oregon Heritage Department, seven awards were given to individuals, organizations, and projects that have made outstanding contributions to preserving Oregon heritage over and above the call of duty. Caples House was the only museum. This award was given to honor  the extraordinary fundraising efforts which resulted in the restoration of the National Register listed Caples House Museum – preserving not only the structure itself, but also the museum collection inside it.
